1) Carrier Relations Coordinator

MTN is currently recruiting to the position of Carrier Relations Coordinator to its Network Group division. This role will work location in Lagos, Nigeria. The Carrier Relations Coordinator will report to the Senior Manager Interconnect Carrier Relations.

Candidate must have the following requirements for MTN Carrier Relations Coordinator:

1. A Bachelors degree in the Sciences preferably in Engineering
2. Four years hands on experience in switching and transmission in the telecoms environment
3. Experience and comprehension of Telecommunications management network philosophy and practice

Tool of trade vehicle provided Work is carried out mostly in the field A valid drivers license Extensive local travel may be required to work extended hours / weekends

MTN is currently recruiting to the position of Capability Development Advisor to its Human Resources division. This role will work location in Lagos, Nigeria. The Capability Development Advisor will report to the Learning Solutions Manager.

Candidate must have the following requirements for MTN Capability Development Advisor:

1. A good first degree preferably in the social sciences.
2. 4 years work experience preferably within the Human Resources environment
3. 2 years experience in training delivery

1. A good first degree preferably in the social sciences.
2. A recognized learning and development qualification. E.g. CIPD diploma.
3. 4 years experience of which 2 years in the training function of a reputable company
4. Consulting experience would be an added advantage

4) VAS Planning Engineer

MTN is currently recruiting to the position of VAS Planning Engineer to its Network Group division. This role will work location in Lagos, Nigeria. The VAS Planning Engineer will report to the Team Lead, VAS Multimedia Solutions.

Candidate must have the following requirements for MTN VAS Planning Engineer:

1. A Bachelors Degree in Electrical & Electronics or Computer Engineering
2. 4 years of experience in cellular industry
3. Experience with GSM, TDMA, CDMA, 2.5,3G networks.
4. Technical experience in planning, design and working with SMSC, MMSC, VMS GGSN, SGSN, WAP Gw and other VAS platforms
5. Vast experience in new products and services development and a good understanding of Product Development Life Cycle
6. Vast Knowledge of signaling systems C7, ISUP, MAP, SMPP, WAP, XML, HTTP etc
7. Experience with Statistics models and trending using Analytic/Modeling tools

Candidate must have the following requirements for MTN Senior Procurement Officer,Network Core:

1. Minimum First degree.
2. PGD,MBA and CIPS will be an added advantage
3. 4 years work experience including:
4. Minimum of  2 years in purchasing function,
5. Proficient in MS Office  Applications and other Microsoft tools
6. Ability to understand IFS and apply it to work

2. Relevant University Degree and demonstrable ability to learn and develop.
3. Minimum of 4 years procurement experience in essential covering all procurement imperatives (quality, service, cost, risk, growth, support, innovation)
4. Experience with an electronic procurement tool will be advantageous
5. Procurement  skills
6. GSM Overview
7. Basic accounting
8. Database Management training
9. Communication skills
10. Business report writing
11. Communication with various levels of management.
